My wife Tricia and I built a town, called Summer Place patterned after the 1950s, in our back yard near Sharpsville, Indiana. We open Summer Place for various groups to raise money for our foundation A Home For Every Child.  We can also provide meals in the diner and movies with popcorn in the theater. My wife and I provide the money for the foundation. Part of that money is raised through Summer Place. We are a 501C and every penny goes to help adopt children as well as provide for special needs pertaining to children.

You can help if you have items of interest to put in the town. Upon all donations we will have a letter drawn up for the tax deduction. We ask that it be a fair appraisal and in good condition. We are looking for any items relating to the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Remember when donating an item, there is no capitol gains tax and you receive full value through tax refunds.

Any of the donations do not go into my estate. If we ever disband our foundation  A Home For Every Child  we must donate that item to another charity or sell the item and give the amount received to charity. This is a great cause and one we have a passion for. Thank you for your consideration.
